Hunter Technology (HOC) has increased its blockchain engagement by partnering with RootAnt, a financial technology firm based in Singapore.

The companies will integrate solutions on a blockchain infrastructure level to match verified transactions between trusted partners with access to various financing options.

Specifically, Hunter intends to use blockchain-based smart contracts on OilEX, its physical oil marketplace, to improve transaction efficiency and legal enforceability and introduce sustainability-linked supply chain finance.

RootAnt’s supply chain finance platform, Banco, connects buyers and sellers with traditional and new finance providers on the r3 Corda and Hyperledger Fabric blockchain protocols.
