Doré Copper Mining Corp. (DCMC) has released the second set of results from its 2021 drilling campaign at its flagship Corner Bay property.

To date, the company has drilled 23 holes totaling 20,166.7 metres. Today’s announcement includes results from nine holes at the property.

Highlights from the program include 6.8 metres intersecting 3.67 per cent copper and 0.26 per cent gold.

Ernest Mast, president and CEO of Doré Copper, commented on the results.

“The 2021 drilling program continues to expand the size of the high-grade copper-gold Corner Bay deposit,” he said. “We are also encouraged to see good continuity and increased thicknesses at depth which lend itself to increased mining rates over time,” he added.

Additional drill holes in proximity to the Main Vein have intersected significant copper mineralization and will be included in the upcoming mineral resource estimate.

With these positive results and the recent financing, Doré Copper is increasing the 2021 drilling program at Corner Bay to 30,000 meters to test the mineralization further along strike to the south

“Our confidence continues to grow in reaching our key target of 5 million tonnes of resources,” added. Mr. Mast, “which would be an increase of approximately 65% from our 2019 NI 43-101 mineral resource estimate.”

Doré Copper is a mining company with high grade cold and copper assets in Quebec.

Doré Copper Mining Corp. (DCMC) is up 1.12 per cent, trading at $0.90 per share as of 1:04 pm ET.
