Lee was a winner of B.C. Business’ Top 30 Under 30 earlier in his career after becoming a finalist for the Richmond Chamber of Commerce’s Young Entrepreneur of the Year Award.

His experience in business and hospitality has propelled him from local operations at the Richmond Night Market & Pacific National Exhibition to founding dessert franchise chain 720 Sweets & Etc. with locations across Asia and North America.

His franchise operation had an active partnership with T&T Supermarket, Canada’s largest Asian grocery store chain, before successfully being acquired in 2019.

Lee works as a consultant and advisor to multiple food businesses. He is also the founder of Food Works Agency, a firm that focuses on omnichannel customer acquisition and nurturement for restaurants.

Michael Yang, Plant Veda’s President, commented,

“I am extremely pleased to welcome my good friend and successful entrepreneur Wilson onboard. Wilson’s ice-cream franchise revolutionized the North American dessert landscape the same way Plant Veda revolutionized the plant-based industry with its award-winning dairy alternatives. I firmly believe his expertise in franchise, restaurants and food services will help Plant Veda revolutionize the plant-based industry many more times in the future.”

Plant Veda is a developer of award-winning plant-based dairy alternatives.

Plant Veda (MILK) closed down 1.64 per cent trading at $1.80 per share.
