Mason Graphite (LLG) has announced patent grants for its graphene material in the U.S. and Canada.

The patents, granted through Black Swan Graphene, include United States patent US10994280 and Canadian patents CA3040228 and CA3040229, which cover the apparatus and method for bulk production of atomically thin 2-dimensional materials, including graphene.

Black Swan Graphene now holds sixteen granted patents in its portfolio across Europe, Canada and the United States, consolidating its position in the high-shear liquid phase exfoliation process for graphene and other 2-dimensional materials.

The graphene produced from the patented manufacturing process can be used as an additive in concrete, polymers, inks, coatings and batteries.

Harry Swan, Chairman of Black Swan Graphene, stated,

“The grant of the American and Canadian patents to Black Swan Graphene’s extensive portfolio of graphene and other 2D materials processes enhances the company’s leadership position and supports the expansion of its products and production.”

Mason Graphite is dedicated to the production and transformation of natural graphite.

Mason Graphite (LLG) is up by 8.64 per cent and is currently trading at $0.44 per share as of 9:49 am ET.
