Mountain Boy (MTB) has confirmed Porphyry Copper-Gold mineralization and high-grade copper at the Telegraph Project in BC’s Golden Triangle.

Porphyry copper-gold mineralization was confirmed at numerous prospects spanning several kilometres.

A highly prospective zone with favourable copper grades was discovered 3 kilometres south of historic drilling.

Mountain Boy’s CEO, Lawrence Roulston said,

“We now have further evidence that the property has the potential to host a porphyry deposit with favourable grades similar in scale to the other deposits in this prolific district.”

The Telegraph Project is a 244 square kilometre zone located in BC’s Golden Triangle.

The objective of the 2021 field program was to re-visit a number of historic showings, evaluate the 2014 drill core from the DOK Main zone. And explore new parts of the property that had either promising historic stream sediment geochemistry or were on strike and trend with known areas of mineralization.

Approximately three kilometres of the DOK Main Zone, 19 surface samples assayed 0.5 per cent copper and higher.

A second new zone was discovered close to the first zone. Several samples yielded over 1 per cent copper. A third zone showed elevated copper values.

2014 drill core samples and surface samples were selected for short wave near-infrared (SWIR) analysis. Initial results confirm the presence of porphyry-style alteration minerals.

Mountain Boy has six active projects in the Golden Triangle of BC.

Mountain Boy (MTB) is up 6.6 per cent at C$0.16 per share at 12:55 pm EST.
