Allied Copper (CPR) is starting a ground Induced Polarization (IP) and Resistivity survey on its SK Property.

The property is located in eastern Nevada.

Groundwork will include a rolling 3D IP-Resistivity survey using the DIAS32 system in the northern SK target area, and a distributed 2D survey array in the South Target area.

Dias Geophysical has been hired to undertake the survey work.

The 3D coverage will involve 400-metre by 200-metre grid spacing while the 2D array will have 100-metre spacing along three lines.

The entire coverage area is about five square kilometres.

The survey design aims to capture an image down to a depth of between 500 and 600-metres.

The company expects the survey will take approximately 12 to 15 days to complete.

Both survey coverages aim to define geophysical signatures of a possible porphyry system with associated polymetallic skarn or carbonate replacement mineralization at depths.

The company expects to receive the results of the survey prior to the end of the first quarter and anticipates starting a drill program in the second or third quarter.

Allied Copper is up 15.79 percent, trading at $0.22 at 10:50 a.m. EST.
