Eric Sprott announced that 6,667,000 common share purchase warrants of Freegold Ventures Limited (FVL) held by him have expired unexercised.

Mr. Sprott’s holdings in Freegold have decreased by approximately 2.2 per cent. Mr. Sprott now owns 84,830,904 shares and 24,613,102 warrants representing approximately 24.7 per cent of the company’s outstanding shares.

Mr. Sprott has a long-term view of the investment and may acquire or sell additional securities on the open market or through private acquisitions.

Freegold Ventures is an exploration company focused on exploring and developing precious and base metal properties. The company’s projects include Golden Summit and the Shorty Creek in Alaska.
