York Harbour Metals (YORK) has updated the phase 4 exploration program at its Copper-Zinc-Silver Project in Newfoundland.

The program will expand the main mine area’s potential within the 47.2 sq. km. property.

The company will outline the VMS mineralization in the main mine area by deep geophysical surveying, 3D modelling and follow-up diamond drilling.

Preliminary metallurgical and environmental baseline studies will also be conducted.

Geophysical, geological, and geochemical surveying will be done elsewhere within the property to assess both the known but untested mineral showings and any new mineral discoveries.

Hawkesbury, ON-based Forage Fusion Drilling Ltd. has a diamond drill rig and support equipment, including a large excavator, on site ready to start the drilling program.

St John’s, NL-based Gemtec Engineering is preparing a Mine Rescue Plan to be filed and reviewed by the Newfoundland Occupational Health and Safety agency.
