Common shares of Prismo Metals (PRIZ) have begun trading on the OTCQB Venture Market in the U.S. under the symbol PMOMF.

The OTCQB Venture Market is a trading platform operated by the OTC Markets Group in New York.

The company’s common shares will continue to trade on the Canadian Securities Exchange under the symbol PRIZ.

Furthermore, the company has announced that it has filed an application with The Depository Trust Company for electronic settlement and transfer of its common shares in the United States. Prismo hopes to become DTC-eligible shortly.

“There is a large potential investor base in the U.S. with an appetite for exposure to mining exploration companies,” noted Prismo’s President and CEO Craig Gibson.

“We expect this will expand our shareholder base and the liquidity of the stock to the benefit of all shareholders,” he added.
