Foremost Lithium (FAT) received assay results from core samples collected from its 10-hole 1,509 metre drill program on its Zoro Lithium Project in Manitoba.

The program tested geological and mobile metal ion soil geochemical targets and assessed previously discovered Dyke 8 at its deeper levels.

Dyke 16 is the newest spodumene-bearing pegmatite dyke discovered on the property. Two holes intersected spodumene-bearing pegmatites between 32.44 metres and 35.80 metres. Assay results vary from 0.04 percent to 1.33 per cent Li2O in four core samples over 3.36 metres.

At Dyke 8, assay results from the first pegmatite intersection vary from 0.05 per cent to 0.86 per cent Li2O in five core samples over 4.71 metres and 0.05 per cent Li2O in each of 2 core samples over 2.25 metres from the second pegmatite intersection.

Multi-element analyses for lithium and related elements and gold assays were undertaken by Ontario-based Activation Laboratories.

Foremost Lithium’s CEO and President, John Gravelle stated that the ongoing discovery of the 16th spodumene – bearing pegmatite dyke on the Zoro property has been confirmed by this latest drill program.

“With the results of a recently completed UAV-assisted magnetic survey and our historic and current exploration database we look forward to defining additional follow-up opportunities for lithium pegmatite diamond drilling exploration on our Zoro property.”

Exploration on the Zoro property will be based on UAV-assisted magnetic surveys and integrating magnetic signatures with soil and rock chip geochemical survey data. The company intends to use this data with historic and current exploration data to provide drill targets.

Foremost Lithium is a resource exploration company focused on providing lithium used to produce high quality battery-grade lithium hydroxide to fuel the electric vehicle and battery storage market. The company is exploring its five lithium properties: Jean Lake, Grass River, Zoro and Jol located in Snow Lake, Manitoba, and Hidden Lake in the Northwest Territories. Foremost also holds its Winston Gold/Silver Project in New Mexico.

Foremost Lithium Resource & Technology Ltd. (FAT) is down 3.45 per cent, trading at C$0.14 per share at 10:55 am ET.
