Baselode Energy (FIND) has unveiled geochemical assay results from 28 drill holes from the ACKIO discovery.

The results stem from the completed 22,500 m diamond drill program at the discovery on the Hook Project in Saskatchewan’s Athabasca Basin.

Results include 17 drill holes with uranium mineralization:

  • 10 graded above 0.5 per cent U3O8
  • 7 intersected uranium 25-50 m below surface
  • 4 intersected uranium 50-100 m below surface

Highlight results include:

  • AK22-047: 1.67 per cent U3O8 over 7.5 m at 99.3 m true vertical depth
  • AK22-052: 0.58 per cent U3O8 over 27.6 m at 28.1 m true vertical depth
  • AK22-035: 0.54 per cent U3O8 over 7.3 m at 145.2 m true vertical depth
  • AK22-051: 0.50 per cent U3O8 over 28.9 m at 28.3 m true vertical depth

A total of 44 drill holes at ACKIO have intersected elevated radioactivity.

Assay results from the remaining 29 drill holes are forthcoming.

CEO James Sykes spoke with Daniella Atkinson about this latest round of results.
