Water Ways (WWT) has received a repeat order for its medical cannabis IoT irrigation and fertilization systems.

The order was received from an Israeli licensed producer who is currently expanding his medical cannabis cultivation facility in Israel. The system is an internet of things-controlled irrigation and fertilization system for cannabis cultivators and growers. Water Ways designed the system for the specific needs of cannabis growers and cultivators worldwide.

the IoT system is to increase the yield and consistency for cannabis growers and cultivators while maintaining quality and reducing energy, water, and fertilization costs. The system was developed in Israel by the company’s Research and Development staff of engineers.

The system is comprised of four segments, a precise drip irrigation system, a fertilizing system, drainage collection, filtration, and water treatment systems, as well as an IoT Control Gateway that monitors and controls the cultivation project. The controller and software are connected and synchronized within the facility. The company expects to deliver and install the system by the end of February 2023.

Ohad Haber, Chairman and CEO of Water Ways, called this repeat order of the system in Israel proof of the advantage of their technology to medical cannabis growers.

“The system’s first client Cronos Israel finished implementing the system in 2020. I also would like to welcome Mr. Yaron Dichter to WWT with great certainty that his experience and know-how will assist us in growing the company’s business.”

Water Ways uses Israeli-based agriculture technology to provide water irrigation solutions to agricultural producers. It competes in the global irrigation water systems market with a focus on developing solutions with commercial applications.

Water Ways Technologies Inc. (WWT) opened trading at C$0.13 per share.
