Empower (EPW) subsidiary EPW Curesearch will develop a program for pharmaceutical research and clinical trial services.

Under the agreement, which involves an established specialist medical group in Dallas, Texas, Empower will have access to a medical clinic space, licensed physicians acting as investigators, and an existing roster of patients.

EPW Curesearch will provide pharmaceutical research and clinical trial services, centralized project coordination and operations management, access to technology and systems to support the services, and the provision of a sponsor contract for clinical trial services.

In addition, EPW Curesearch has completed a research services agreement with a leading physician and researcher who will act as principal investigator (PI) supporting the provision of services of the first site in Dallas.

Empower anticipates announcing additional new PI signings in the near future.

The CRO services market will grow from $76.6 billion in 2023 to $127.3 billion by 2028 at a CAGR of 10.7 per cent, according to Markets and Markets.
