dynaCERT (DYA) and Cipher Neutron have signed an MOU with Molymet.

Molymet is a Chilean company that supplies 35 per cent of the world’s molybdenum and 70 per cent of rhenium.

The companies intend to develop cleaner, more efficient electrolysers and lower-cost green hydrogen for industrial applications and clean energy storage and generation.

dynaCERT and Cipher will further jointly develop, produce and market hydrogen technology, including AEM electrolyser technology, which will be custom designed to produce green hydrogen for Molymet.

The deal will also see dynaCERT and CN advancing the testing of Molymet’s proprietary rhenium products for use in hydrogen electrolysers and other of their hydrogen-related technologies.

dynaCERT and Cipher’s 5 kilowatt AEM Electrolyser produces 28 times more hydrogen gas than a traditional alkaline cell of equivalent size. The AEM 250 kilowatt stacks planned by dynaCERT and CN are priced below US$950/kilowatt.

dynaCERT manufactures and distributes carbon emission reduction technology along with its proprietary HydraLytica Telematics, a means of monitoring fuel consumption and calculating GHG emissions savings designed for the tracking of carbon credits for internal combustion engines.

dynaCERT (DYA) last traded at $0.18 per share.
