The Vancouver Canucks have selected WELL Health Technologies (TSX:WELL) as their official medical services provider.

Via a news release, the company stated this partnership with the NHL team heralds “[A] new era in healthcare for elite athletes”, with WELL Health Medical and Longevity Centres providing comprehensive care, including advanced diagnostic imaging, pain management, sport cardiology, and the innovative WELL Longevity+ program for preventative care to the Vancouver Canucks and Canucks Sports & Entertainment players, coaches and management.

In November 2023, the digital healthcare company launched the WELL Longevity+ program that uses precision diagnostic testing to proactively identify potential conditions such as cancer, heart disease and neurodegenerative diseases.

WELL Longevity+ utilizes advanced precision diagnostics and artificial intelligence (AI) technologies to enhance preventative health.

The WELL Longevity+ preventative care program uses new diagnostic technology to improve early diagnosis of major chronic diseases, which the company states are often the leading causes of death and disability.

The program will be initially available at the newly inaugurated WELL Health Medical & Longevity Centre in Vancouver, B.C.

Expansion plans include rolling out WELL Longevity+ services through WELL Health’s network of preventative health clinics across Canada.

WELL Health is planning on offering certain premium healthcare services to premium Canucks seat holders, including WELL Longevity+.

WELL Health Technologies develops tech solutions and services to ensure healthcare providers are empowered to positively impact patient outcomes. Its solutions enable more than 31,000 healthcare providers across the United States and Canada and power the largest owned and operated healthcare ecosystem in Canada with more than 148 clinics.

WELL Health Technologies Corp. has traded in the range of C$3.70 to C$3.80 from mid-November to mid-December
