Canadian stock index futures edged lower Wednesday as market sentiment remained cautious ahead of the Federal Reserve’s January meeting minutes, with traders seeking further clarity on the central bank’s interest rate outlook.

And Trumps latest tariff threats include auto, semiconductor and pharmaceutical imports all “in the neighbourhood of 25%”

The Canadian dollar loses steam to the greenback down -0.03% to US$.7040, showing momentum forward against the Euro adding 0.16% $0.6751.
