Draganfly (CSE:DPRO) announced that it has received an award to supply its Flex FPV drones and provide foundational First Person View (FPV) training to U.S. Air Force Special Operations Command (AFSOC) units. The initiative is being carried out in partnership with DelMar Aerospace Corporation, a leading provider of advanced uncrewed aircraft systems (UAS) instruction for U.S. Government customers.

The collaboration pairs Draganfly’s drone platforms with DelMar’s expertise in UAS tactics, techniques, and procedures. Together, the companies aim to deliver a mission‑relevant training pipeline tailored to the evolving needs of U.S. military operators. Initial training activities will focus on FPV UAS operations, including assembly, repair, flight skills, and advanced mission planning and execution.

Under the award, Draganfly will supply its Flex FPV drones as the core training platform for AFSOC personnel. Training will be held at DelMar Aerospace’s Camp Pendleton UAS range facility, a controlled environment designed to simulate complex battlefield conditions. According to the companies, the first training cohort is slated to begin in mid‑February.

Draganfly’s Flex FPV platform is engineered as a modular backbone for small UAS configurations and is positioned to meet emerging Department of War operational requirements. Its design allows operators to rapidly shift between flight profiles and payload types, offering a single system adaptable to multiple mission sets. The modularity also enables wide-scale adoption across programs that require common training, sustainment, and logistical frameworks.

DelMar Aerospace will oversee curriculum development, instruction, and standards compliance. The company will ensure that the training remains aligned with U.S. Government contracting, security requirements, and real‑world tactical demands.

“This collaboration is about developing operators who are prepared to employ uncrewed systems effectively in demanding environments,” DelMar Aerospace’s Chief Operating Officer, Stanley Springer, explained in a media statement.

“Partnering with DelMar Aerospace helps ensure operators are training on systems and tactics designed for real-world conditions, with the Flex’s modularity and reliability required to adapt as missions and threats evolve,” Draganfly’s CEO, Cameron Chell added.

Draganfly stock (CSE:DPRO) last traded at C$9.97 and has flown more than 100 per cent higher than this time last year.
