Freegold Ventures (TSX:FVL) continues to yield high-grade gold in the latest assays from 2024 drilling on its Golden Summit project in Alaska.

The 25,708-metre program successfully expanded mineralization to the west in the West of Willow Creek (Wow) zone tracking a 1.5 km gold-in-soil anomaly, strengthening Golden Summit’s value proposition as it approaches initial work on a pre-feasibility study.

Results paint an increasingly encouraging picture about the project’s potential to house an economical resource, including broad areas of significant mineralization.

The 2025 drilling program at Golden Summit will test the depth-extent of higher-grade zones discovered in 2024 and further explore mineralization in the Wow zone.

Investors can expect an updated mineral resource in 2025 once all 2024 assays have been received, allowing Freegold to kick off pre-feasibility work. To date, 29 of 41 assays are in hand.

Tuesday’s news release follows prospective results released earlier this month highlighted by 1.88 grams per ton of gold over 54.2 metres and 1.25 grams per ton of gold over 56.5 metres.
