TSX rises as Tesla rebounds ahead of earnings. Oil jumps on renewed Iran tensions, Agnico consolidates Finland assets, and B2Gold reports fire damage.

The TSX is up 0.86%, while the TSX Venture Index is higher by 1.08%, as Canadian markets move higher despite renewed geopolitical tension and sharp swings in commodities. U.S. markets are mixed: the Dow is slightly lower, down 0.04%, while the Nasdaq is down 0.32%, as traders react to fresh flare‑ups in U.S.–Iran tensions and a jump in oil prices. In Europe, the FTSE 100 is under pressure, falling 0.64%.

Commodities are again setting the tone. Oil is surging more than 3.7%, reflecting heightened supply concerns after renewed Middle East tensions.
