Shares of Mogul Mountain Ventures (TSXV:MOGL), a Nevada-based gold and silver miner, went public at Tuesday’s market open, offering exposure to a district-scale project in the Walker Lane trend, which has yielded more than 40 million ounces of gold to date.

Mogul’s more than 5,000-acre Rays-West Dome project, only 12 kilometres north of the active Tonopah mining district, hosts an orogenic gold–silver system at the Rays target, as well as an epithermal gold–silver system at West Dome, de-risked by multiple brownfield targets anchored by historic mine workings, high-grade surface mineralization and district-scale structural features.

The company is guided by a leadership team of decorated mining and finance professionals, including a former JP Morgan investment banker, the founder of American Lithium, and a founding director and shareholder of Diamond Fields Resources, which was acquired by Inco for C$4.3 billion.

Mogul Mountain raised C$7 million in financings concurrent with its listing, making it well-funded to advance exploration and drilling programs at Rays-West Dome in the near future.

Leadership commentary

“Commencing trading on the TSXV is an important milestone for Mogul and the beginning of an exciting new phase for the company. With approximately C$7 million raised, a tight capital structure, a strong shareholder register and an experienced Nevada-based geological and engineering team, we are well-positioned to advance exploration at Rays-West Dome,” Andy Edelmeier, Chief Executive Officer of Mogul Mountain Ventures, said in a statement.

“Mogul has assembled a large, 100-per-cent-owned gold-silver project in one of Nevada’s most prolific mining regions, with multiple priority targets supported by historic workings, surface mineralization, geochemistry and geophysics. We look forward to advancing these targets and commencing our planned drill programs. On behalf of the board and management, I would also like to thank our shareholders, advisors and partners for their support in reaching this important milestone,” Edelmeier added.
