Nextech (NTAR) has introduced wayfinding and navigation through its ARway spatial mapping platform.

AR wayfinding is navigation with AR activations to improve the visitor experience. It is well-suited for expos, trade shows, conferences and festivals through the provision of wayfinding meta maps, engaging spatial experiences and deep location intelligence.

The new functionality is part of an event management product in collaboration with Map D, a self-serve event management software solution.

The product is part of new upgrades enhancing 3D models and floor plans, GPS tagging, map connectors and various content interactions launched on July 30, 2022 as part of ARway 1.2.

According to Research and Markets, the global indoor positioning and navigation market (2020 to 2025) is projected to grow to $23.6 billion in 2025 at a CAGR of 27.9 per cent.
