Nuvei Corporation (NVEI) has been granted an online gaming service provider vendor registration in Connecticut.

The registration is via the Montreal-based tech company’s wholly-owned subsidiary.

The registration with the Connecticut Board of Consumer Protection allows Nuvei to support sports betting and iGaming operators within the state.

Online sports betting was legalized in Connecticut in May 2021.

The state’s first legal online sportsbooks went live on October 19.

Nuvei’s payment processing technology includes a revenue optimization suite, streamlined pay-ins through a variety of payment methods including cards, ACH and alternative payments, net deposits, real-time fraud detection, risk management, and instant payouts.

The company’s platform provides seamless pay-in and payout capabilities, connecting merchants with their customers in over 200 markets worldwide.

The company accepts 500 local and alternative payment methods, nearly 150 currencies and 40 cryptocurrencies.

Nuvei Corporation is up 0.60 per cent, trading at $156.96 at 12:52 pm ET.
