Recent financial results from Organic Garage Ltd. (OG), Beyond Meat and Oatly suggest explosive revenue growth through plant-based foods.

Organic Garage is capitalizing on twin “megatrends” in the booming plant-based foods space and specialty organic retailing.

Organic Garage will scale its retail stores and launch its “Future of Cheese” brand which targets the multi-billion-dollar opportunities in the plant-based dairy sector.

Developed by some of the world’s leading cheese experts, Future of Cheese is rolling out a full line of cheese, butter, and other dairy alternative products.

Its initial run of butter sold out within 48 hours of launching in Ontario.

Organic Garage currently has four stores generating over $30 million in revenue at strong gross margins ready to scale rapidly with new locations.

Lurie has opened dialogue around scaling possibilities through company-owned stores, partnerships, and/or franchises.

Oatly reports its record all-time high second-quarter revenue increased by 53 per cent to $146 million from its second-quarter in 2020.

Oatly’s finished good volume is 106 million litres for its second quarter, which compares to 74 million litres produced for the same period last year.

The global demand for the company’s product continues to outpace its supply.

The current trend Oatly is on has the company anticipating its revenue to exceed $690 million, an increase greater than 64 per cent year-over-year.

Beyond Meat increased its net revenue by 32 per cent for a value of $149 million in its Q2, 2021.

Sales of Beyond Meat products are up 95 per cent year-over-year in the quarter in the NPD Group market research track channels in line with the overall category during the same period.

These increases reflect gains and signs of recovery among independent operators including restaurants, bars, pubs, and lodging venues.

Organic Garage Ltd. (OG) is down 3.297 per cent and is trading at $0.44 per share at 2:46 p.m. ET.
