Pure Mushrooms Corporation, a subsidiary of Pure Extracts (PULL), has submitted a product licence application for its Lion’s Mane product.

The Class 3 natural health product licence would allow Pure Mushrooms to include the product’s benefits for cognitive health in its description.

Once it is licenced, the Lion’s Mane product will be available on the company’s Amazon store alongside its reishi and maitake functional wellness products.

Ben Nikolaevsky, Pure Extracts CEO, commented on the product’s release to the company’s online store.

“The functional mushroom wellness market is experiencing robust sales as many consumers are trying to boost their immune systems in light of the COVID-19 pandemic.”

“As we build-out our mushroom extraction facility,” he added, “we plan to bring more products to market.”

The Class 1 Lion’s Mane product is expected to launch in the fourth quarter. The company will also release its new blended mushroom product at that time.

Once the Class 3 licence is approved, Pure Extracts will launch the Class 3 Lion’s Mane product, with an expected launch date of Q1 2022.

Pure Extracts Technologies is a plant-based extraction company that specializes in the processing of cannabis, hemp, and functional mushrooms.
