Red Light Holland’s (TRIP) Mushroom Home Grow Kits are now sold in 30 Canadian locations.

These include nurseries, garden centres, farmer’s markets, seed shops, greenhouses and health food stores.

Subsidiary Happy Caps Mushroom Farm produces the non-psychedelic kits from its facility in Halifax.

Happy Caps remains focused on increasing direct-to-consumer purchases and its in-store retail presence.

“We are so proud of the founders, Andrew Kobayasi and Andrew Hatfield,” said Todd Shapiro, Red Light Holland’s CEO. “Kobo and Hatty have worked extremely hard with their sales team to expand points of sale for Happy Caps’ products.”

“We’ve always said the acquisition of Happy Caps presented a brand building opportunity for Red Light Holland, as Happy Caps’ products can currently reach consumers in a plethora of markets,” he added.

Red Light Holland is engaged in the production, growth and sale of a premium brand of magic truffles.

Red Light Holland (TRIP) is down by 4 per cent trading at $0.12 per share as of 9:37 am EST.
