Sparta Group (TSX.V:SAY) signed a strategic partnership with Parametric Design Canada Inc., a leader in augmented reality (AR) technologies. This alliance aims to elevate Sparta’s Autonomous Medicine Project to new heights by integrating AR visors, revolutionizing medical diagnostics and treatment.

The collaboration focuses on advancing the “Doc-in-a-Box” project, anticipated to meet all requirements for a Category 4 Software as a Medical Device (SaMD). With the integration of AR, the project will offer healthcare professionals a pioneering decision-support tool, capable of autonomous diagnosis and treatment selection. Approved by Health Canada and the FDA, the device will provide enhanced real-world interaction via AR glasses, facilitating live stream sharing with remote doctors for immediate support and decision-making. Additionally, Parametric Design Canada Inc.’s AR application could play a crucial role in medical training and treatment diagnosis.

Enhancing healthcare efficiency and accessibility

“Doc-in-a-Box” is designed to assist doctors, nurses, and other healthcare professionals in delivering superior patient care more efficiently. The system promises just-in-time access to the latest medical evidence for over 2,500 conditions and treatment options, ensuring patients receive the best possible care instantly and maintaining the highest standards of medical practice. This technology aims to make high-quality medical care more accessible, especially in remote areas and challenging environments like space exploration, where traditional healthcare options are limited.

“We are fortunate to have Parametric Design Canada Inc.’s expertise and look forward to a highly successful alliance. Formalizing our relationship is an important step in our journey to develop and commercialize this transformative medical device. It will empower medical professionals to fully leverage our technology to combat two of the biggest challenges in healthcare – wait times and health outcomes,”, Sparta Group’s president, Tony Peticca said in a news release.

Revolutionizing medical technology with AR

Augmented reality can offer a unique way to interact with the world, using digital visual elements, sounds, and other sensory stimuli. Parametric Design brings extensive experience in applying AR across various industries, making them an ideal partner for this initiative.

“Merging Parametric Design Canada Inc.’s expertise in augmented reality with Sparta Group’s commitment to health and green technology means we are poised to redefine the boundaries of medical technology. We are excited about the potential for deeper integration of our technologies, and we look forward to exploring new horizons together. Our shared vision is one where AR and AI-driven solutions become integral parts of medical practice, transforming the way healthcare is delivered and experienced,” Parametric Design’s Richard Bressan added.

The future of AR in healthcare

According to Statista, the global data and business intelligence platform, more than 23 million jobs worldwide will be enhanced by AR technology by 2030. This partnership between Sparta Group and Parametric Design Canada is a significant step towards that future, potentially transforming healthcare delivery and improving patient outcomes globally.

Investors and stakeholders can look forward to the revolutionary potential of the “Doc-in-a-Box” project, marking a new era in healthcare technology through the synergy of Sparta Group’s medical innovations and Parametric Design Canada’s AR expertise.

Sparta Group owns a controlling interest in a network of independent businesses, which supplies energy-saving technologies designed to reduce energy inefficiencies, achieve reduced emissions and increase operating efficiencies in various industries.
