This week’s Stockhouse Gold Report brings you a quartet of catalysts for value creation, beginning with GoGold Resources (TSX:GGD), a Mexican gold and silver producer that posted record quarterly operating cash flow in Q1 2026, with the company now fully funded to reach production at its Los Ricos South project and usher operations to newfound levels of profitability.

At the time of writing on Wednesday, the price of gold was US$4,691.32, according to data from ADVFN, up from US$4,567.04 per ounce in our April 29th report, reflecting limited growth prospects implied by recent US private sector employment data, as well as doubts surrounding negotiations between Iran and the United States to end their ongoing war and reopen the flow of oil and gas through the Strait of Hormuz. US President Trump has threatened to bomb Iran “at a much higher level and intensity” should a peace deal fail to materialize.

Lundin Gold (TSX:LUG) also offered the market food for thought over the past week, drilling up to 667.78 grams per ton of gold over 7.50 m from 19.15 m depth from its Fruta del Norte mine in Ecuador, one of the highest-grade and lowest-cost gold mines in the world, demonstrating untapped value on the more than 15-million-ounce land package.

Not to be outdone, Visible Gold Mines (TSXV:VGD) raised C$2.6 million in non-dilutive cash to advance its flagship Horsefly project in Quebec’s Chibougamau Mining Camp, which hosts numerous gold occurrences and resides near IAMGOLD’s 11-million-ounce Nelligan Mining Complex.

We cap off this week’s gold report with Quebec-based TomaGold (TSXV:LOT), whose recently closed financing tranche with SIDEX and NQ Investissement Minier holds the potential to bring its high-caliber 13-project portfolio to a wider institutional investor base.
