The Gummy Project (GUMY) has received a purchase order for its Peachy Bees and Watermelon Sharks from a luxury hotel in Austin, Texas.

Expected to be for sale in each of the hotel’s guest room private bars, the Peachy Bees and Watermelon Sharks are plant-based, gluten-free, and without peanuts. Each 50g pouch of the Watermelon Sharks or Peachy Bees contains only 80 calories and 2 grams of sugar.

Charlie Lamb, CEO of GUMY, commented on the news.

“Entering an additional US state and having our gummies for sale at this Luxury Hotel is another significant achievement for the company as we continue to expand in both Canada and the US.”

He added that this Luxury Hotel’s commitment to a more sustainable future is consistent with his company’s mandate of supporting endangered “keystone” species. The team anticipates developing a long-term relationship with them.

The company donates to support endangered “keystone” species for every bag sold. For the Watermelon Sharks, the company supports Ocearch – a global leader in ocean and shark conservation. For the Peachy Bees, the company supports The Bee Conservancy.

The Gummy Project (GUMY) sells low-sugar, plant-based gummy products while raising money (and awareness) to support endangered keystone species.

The Gummy Project Inc. (GUMY) is up 40.00 per cent, trading at C$0.07 per share at 6:25 am ET.
