1844 Resources (EFF) is announcing mineralized discoveries at the Lac Arsenault Gold Project.

The project’s 2021 drilling campaign was located in the central part of the property on two known gold corridors.

The gold mineralized zones develop along discontinuous deformation corridors, faulted and NNE-trending.

Deformation corridors are composed of brittle-ductile shear zones, accompanied by tectonic breccia, shear veins, veins folded in tension and zones in stockwork.

Drilling intersected gold-silver-lead-zinc mineralized zones in 4 of 11 holes completed during the campaign. The best results include 13.65 ppm Ag and 5.84 g/t Au over 0.1 m, 8.91 ppm Ag and 3.23 g/t Au over 0.3 m, and 2.92 g/t Au over 0.25 m.

Sylvain Laberge, President and CEO of 1844, commented,

“We are very pleased with the results on this initial drilling program at Lac Arsenault. The basic data collected through the various exploration techniques around the known Lac Arsenault showings combined with recent drilling give another dimension and understanding to the project. With as many as 20 additional north by northeast lineaments yet to be explored, we are excited to continue developing this asset on the Gaspe Peninsula.”

1844 is an exploration company focused on metals and underexplored regions in Québec.

1844 Resources (EFF) is unchanged at $0.065 per share as of 2:19 pm ET.
