Brixton Metals (BBB) has discovered 24 m of 187 g/t silver, including 10 m of 356 g/t silver, at its Langis Project.

The Fall/Winter 2020-2021 exploration program consisted of 18,453.35 m of NQ core over 163 holes. This release covers the last 14 holes, which focused on the Shaft 6 area.

Highlights

  • LM-21-242 drilled 3 m of 1341 g/t silver and 0.06 per cent cobalt from 128 m, including 1 m of 2060 g/t silver and 0.06 per cent cobalt
  • LM-21-245 drilled 24 m of 187 g/t silver and 0.02 per cent cobalt from 131 m, including 10 m of 356 g/t silver and 0.02 per cent cobalt, including 2 m of 1077 g/t silver and 0.04 per cent cobalt
  • A large nickel anomaly is emerging at the Langis Project. LM-21-233 drilled 68 m of 14.3 g/t silver, 0.12 per cent Ni, 0.01 per cent Co and 0.1 per cent Zn, including 6 m of 78 g/t silver, 0.23 per cent Ni, 0.02 per cent Co and 1 per cent Zn

The Langis Mine Project is a past-producing mine located 500 km North of Toronto, Canada.

Its silver mineralization occurs as native silver within dipping veins and veinlets, and as disseminations, rosettes and fracture infill associated with calcite, hematite, pyrite, cobaltite, chalcopyrite, niccolite and gold.

The mine has produced 10.6 million oz of silver and 358,340 pounds of cobalt.

Gary R. Thompson, Chairman and CEO of Brixton Metals, commented,

“The recent Fall/Winter program was very successful in identifying new silver bonanza zones near the old workings and was highlighted by broad zones of silver-cobalt mineralization.

We are in the process of modelling these results to further define next steps for the project with a primary goal of moving a number of targets into a maiden resource category. The nickel mineralization appears to be wide open and we believe it warrants further exploration.”

Brixton is an exploration and development company focused on advancing its mining projects toward feasibility.

Brixton Metals (BBB) is up by 2.27 per cent and is currently trading at $0.225 per share as of 1:29 pm ET.
