Canterra Minerals (CTM) has announced a C$2.7 million non-brokered private placement with participation from Eric Sprott.

The offering consists of 13,581,000 units of the company priced at $0.20 per unit.

Each unit consists of one Canterra common share and one-half of one common share purchase warrant.

Each warrant entitles the holder to acquire one share for $0.30 for 24 months following the closing of the offering.

Sprott has agreed to purchase $2.6 million of the offering. Once closed, he will own ~19.9 per cent of the company on a basic shares outstanding basis.

The company will use the proceeds for general exploration, working capital and other corporate purposes.

The offering is scheduled to close on or about June 29, 2021.

Canterra is earning a 100-per-cent interest in the Wilding and Noel Paul Gold projects in central Newfoundland.

Canterra Minerals (CTM) is up by 22.45 per cent and is currently trading at $0.30 per share as of 12:46 pm ET.
