CAVU Mining (CAVU) has mobilized crews and equipment for a drilling program on the company’s Hopper Project.

The copper-gold skarn and porphyry project is located in British Columbia.

The program will cover a minimum of 1500-metres of diamond drilling.

All drill pads are accessible by road.

The drill program will include infill drilling of a known 1200 by 800-metre area of skarn copper-gold mineralization. It will also test step-out drilling of potential skarn mineralization. and include drilling geophysical porphyry anomalies.

The Hopper intrusion contains gold, copper and molybdenum mineralization and is 5 by 7 kilometres in size and contains the porphyry target.

“Being able to review all the historical data and prepare a drill program only months after the option deal speaks to the caliber of the technical team as well as the quality of the Hopper Project. We look forward to the drilling and are excited to be working in a region that is well-endowed and has recently attracted the attention of major copper miners,” said CAVU CEO Dr. Jaap Verbaas.

CAVU Mining is unchanged, trading at C$0.41 at 3:03 pm ET.
