Quantum blockchain company Krown Technologies is debuting Excalibur, the world’s first quantum-secured crypto cold wallet.

The ultra-compact wallet, compatible with digital assets of any kind, is powered by Quantum eMotion’s (TSXV:QNC) quantum random number generator technology, which offers next-generation unpredictability to make it “the most secure crypto wallet ever developed,” according to Thursday’s news release.

Krown signed a five-year, non-exclusive global license to deploy Quantum eMotion’s technology into blockchain applications. The companies will work together to expand Excalibur’s market share under a revenue-sharing model, with eyes on leveraging the cold wallet market‘s estimated 28.79 per cent compound annual growth rate from US$450 million in 2025 to US$1.6 billion in 2030.

Excalibur is in the final design stage and will begin prototype testing imminently. Investors can expect details on launch and availability in the coming weeks.

Leadership insights

“The future of digital asset security is quantum and Krown is leading the way,” James Stephens, Krown Technologies’ chief executive officer, said in a statement. “Excalibur represents a fundamental shift in how crypto wallets are secured. With Quantum eMotion’s QRNG technology at its core, this is the safest way to store and protect digital assets, period.”

“This collaboration with Krown Technologies is revolutionizing quantum security in blockchain,” added Francis Bellido, CEO of Quantum eMotion. “Our cold wallet prototype has demonstrated a reduction in monetary loss risk by up to 98 per cent compared to traditional cold wallets. With Excalibur, we are not merely raising the bar, we are shaping the future of secure digital asset storage.”
