The Canadian Securities Exchange (CSE) is highlighting a new dual-listing option through its sister exchange, the National Stock Exchange of Australia (NSX), with Yukon copper explorer Gladiator Metals (TSXV:GLAD) becoming the first company to complete the process.

This article is a journalistic opinion piece which has been written based on independent research. It is intended to inform investors and should not be taken as a recommendation or financial advice.

The pathway, described as “timely and cost-efficient” in Wednesday’s news release, grants companies a waiver from most of the NSX’s listing obligations, contingent on Canadian exchange compliance, with no prospectus required if not completing a concurrent capital raise.

The NSX, acquired in 2025, will evaluate all successful program entrants based on their Canadian disclosures to streamline compliance, hoping to make the expansion Down Under as seamless as possible.

Leadership commentary

“This innovative program will greatly facilitate a Canadian issuer’s access to the dynamic Australian capital market,” Richard Carleton, Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of the CSE, said in a statement. “We congratulate the NSX and Gladiator for working through this process, and thank the Australian and Canadian regulators for their support on the initiative. Collectively, we have pioneered a process that should unlock significant capital formation opportunities for Canadian issuers.”

“The Low Doc Dual Listing process is an outgrowth of the tremendous level of interest in the NSX since we became affiliated with the CSE,” commented Max Cunningham, CEO of the NSX. “We look forward to seeing the equity securities of other Canadian companies, both from the CSE and other exchanges, listing on our exchange.”

“Our decision to establish a secondary listing on the NSX reflects the growing interest we are seeing in Gladiator from Australian investors and our desire to make ownership of the company as simple and accessible as possible,” added Jason Bontempo, CEO of Gladiator Metals. “We remain firmly committed to our Canadian listing and the strong support we have received from Canadian investors, as we benefit from this efficient and cost-effective pathway to broaden our investor base.”
