Adventus Mining Corporation (ADZN) has shared the prospective results from its maiden drill hole program on the Rathkeale Project.

The project is located in the County Limerick of the Republic of Ireland.

The company stated the first drill hole intersected numerous zinc, lead, and silver mineralization zones within a wide 209-metre section. The intercepts were found with varying grades of said mineralization. Adventus believes the intercepts defined a new prospect for carbonate-hosted sulphide mineralization within the Limerick Basin.

According to Adventus, the program was designed to target the base of Waulsortian equivalent limestone for zinc-lead mineralization in specific areas that have seen little drilling.

Adventus said it would continue drilling the remaining scout drill hole targets on the Rathkeale Block.

Essential targeting information derived from completing the current drill hole on the Killeen target will be used to assess future drill planning.

A total of three scout drill holes over 2,511 metres have been completed on the Rathkeale block according to Adventus’ design. A fourth scout drill hole at the Hollywood House area is in progress for an extra 588 metres with a target depth of 850 metres.

Adventus Mining Corporation (ADZN) is up 6.98 per cent trading at $0.46 per share as of 1:59 p.m. ET.
