HealthTab, a subsidiary of Avricore Health (TSXV:AVCR), signed a multi-year agreement to supply and distribute Abbott Laboratories’ point-of-care testing products through its UK-based network.

The partnership will begin with Abbott’s Afinion 2 Analyzer to test for HbA1c (blood sugar) and lipid profiles, first in NHS-linked pharmacies, with a framework in place to expand into community pharmacies.

HealthTab is a turnkey solution for national pharmacy-based point-of-care testing networks, including instruments, products, training, ongoing support and a cloud-based platform for data analysis and pharmacy workflows aligned with accredited clinical laboratories.

The platform screened 3,500 patients in London as of April 2026 and is actively advancing a plan to expand from 100 locations in Q2 2026 to about 500 by mid-2027, eyeing a long-term addressable market of more than 10,000 community pharmacies across the UK.

Leadership commentary

“This agreement represents our most significant milestone to date,” Rodger Seccombe, Chief Executive Officer of Avricore Health, said in Thursday’s news release. “We’ve spent fifteen years building and proving the model for pharmacy-based point-of-care testing, and we’ve learned that solving this problem takes more than great technology — it takes an industry-leading partner willing to invest the people, expertise and resources needed to make it successful. We couldn’t have asked for a better team to be working with, and together we’re going to make a real impact on patient care.”
