Electronic Arts (NASDAQ:EA) unveiled the 22 elite players who have earned a spot in the top-tier men’s and women’s Team of the Year Final XI.
This unique award, one of the few in global football where fans can vote, allows supporters to shape the final roster and honor the world’s most elite football stars.
Starting Wednesday, attackers will be available in EA Sports FC 25, followed by midfielders on January 19th and defenders/goalkeepers on January 21st. The full team rosters will be added to the Football Ultimate Team pool of items from January 23rd through January 31st, with honorable mentions and the 12th man and woman dropping on January 24th.

Liverpool FC defender Virgil van Dijk expressed his gratitude via a media statement, saying, “It’s a great feeling to be recognized by the fans, and so I’m proud and honored to be voted in the FC 25 Team of the Year.”
For EA Sports FC Mobile players, the Men’s team roster will be available in-game starting on January 21st, coinciding with the start of an in-game event featuring three team Chapters, special team icons, and a dedicated team star pass. The EA Sports FC Mobile team in-game event will continue with weekly updates leading into u-team mid-February, with ATT launching on February 13th, MID on February 15th, and DEF on February 17th. The event will conclude on March 6th.
Developed by EA Vancouver, EA Sports FC 25 is available for PlayStation5, Xbox Series X|S, PC, PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and Nintendo Switch, as well as through EA Play.
