Goliath Resources (GOT) has reported a 61.5-metre drill intercept of quartz-sulphide veining in the sixth hole of its 2021 drill program.

The maiden diamond drill program has targeted several areas on the Golddigger property, which is located in BC’s Golden Triangle.

The reported 61.5-meter intercept was discovered at the North pad of the Surebet Zone. Based on readings from the Portable XRF (x-ray fluorescence) spot counts, the intercept returned up to 326 g/t silver, 1.2 per cent copper, 7.16 per cent zinc, and 6.77 per cent lead.

A second drill rig has been mobilized to the property at the Cloud Nine area west of the Surebet target to confirm if it is a feeder system for the Surebet polymetallic mineralization.

Both rigs will continue to trace the full extent of the Surebet Polymetallic Gold-Silver Zone along strike and at depth.

Additional fan drilling is planned for the adjacent Lower and Upper Waterfall, Main, Central and North pads at Surebet.

So far, six holes have been drilled at the property, and official assay results are pending.

Goliath Resources is an explorer of precious metals projects in the prolific Golden Triangle of northwestern British Columbia and the Abitibi Greenstone Belt of Quebec.

The Golddigger property covers 23,859 hectares southeast of Stewart, British Columbia near the Homestake Ridge project.

Goliath Resources (GOT) is currently down 10.00 per cent, trading at $1.26 per share as of 10:00 am ET.
