  • Mobix Labs reported a new six-figure production order for aircraft engine-system components.
  • The order is from a tier-one aerospace and defence supplier supporting fighter jets and wide-body aircraft.
  • The company said the order includes connectors that reduce electromagnetic interference in engine electronics.

Mobix Labs Inc. (Nasdaq: MOBX) said it received a new six-figure production order from a tier-one global aerospace and defence supplier for specialised engine-system components used across multiple US fighter jet platforms and wide-body commercial aircraft.

The company described the order as an expansion of its aerospace business, adding to previously announced production activity supporting the F-16 Fighting Falcon and F-22 Raptor, and its existing involvement on the F-35 Lightning II and F/A-18 Super Hornet.

What the order covers

Mobix Labs said the order covers custom-engineered electromagnetic interference (EMI)-filtered connectors, which are designed to protect sensitive aircraft engine control and monitoring electronics from electromagnetic interference.

The company said modern fighter jets operate in demanding electromagnetic environments where radar, communications and electronic warfare systems operate alongside digital engine controls, and that its filtering technology helps protect engine electronics from interference.

Commercial aerospace context cited by the company

Mobix Labs also linked the order to commercial aerospace demand. Citing aerospace industry trade association ADS, the company said the combined order backlog of the world’s two largest commercial aircraft manufacturers totalled 17,037 aircraft at the end of July 2026, which it said represented more than 12 years of production at prevailing rates.

Mobix Labs said aircraft engine supply has become a key factor affecting the pace of commercial aircraft deliveries, and it believes its US-based manufacturing and experience producing custom, high-reliability electronic components position it to pursue additional opportunities across military and commercial aerospace programs.

“From front-line U.S. fighter jets to the world’s largest commercial aircraft, engine reliability is nonnegotiable,” Phil Sansone, Chief Executive Officer of Mobix Labs, said.

The company noted that its statements about anticipated demand, expected benefits from the order, and potential future orders, shipments and revenue are forward-looking and subject to risks and uncertainties.
