Nickel North Exploration (NNX) completed 381 soil samples during its fieldwork program at its Hawk Ridge Nickel-Copper-Cobalt-PGE Project.

The soil sampling program covered the five previously defined mineralization targets involving an area of approx. 25 km2.

The XRF testing results confirm and expand the previously defined Ni-Cu and PGE mineralization targeting areas and identified two new strong cobalt anomalies in the two targeting areas: Lucille Zone and Falco 7 Zone.

Ni in soil anomalies up to 1731 ppm (or 0.17 per cent Ni) was logged from soil samples between Hope Advance Main and Hope Advance North zones. Cu in soil anomalies is up to 10429 ppm (or 1.05 per cent Cu) from a soil sample at an undrilled high-grade strong sulphide mineralized target area in the Falco 7 zone.

Co in soil anomalies is up to 570 to 1669 ppm (or 0.057 per cent to 0.17 per cent Co) were found in soil samples at the Lucille zone area. Co in soil anomalies is also up to 187 ppm to 305 ppm from at Falco 7 zone northwest area

A high-grade massive sulphide area up to 100 metres by 200 metres was found at the Falco 7 zone northwest with strong Ni-Cu in soil anomalies, next to strong Co in soil anomalies that have not been drilled.

Very strong and high-grade Co was found in soil anomalies at the Lucille zone area in the south section of the Hawk Ridge project, which may be associated with the volcanogenic pyrite or pyrrhotite and will be the priority target to work in the 2023 working season.

Nickel North’s President and CEO, Tony Guo said that testing on the soil samples allowed the team to confirm and expand five previously defined Ni-Cu sulphide mineralized zones.

“High-grade strong Co in soil anomalies discovered at Lucille and Falco 7 targets areas together with other associated geological features show the high potential for the high-grade sulphide mineralization in these two targets. We will add all this information to our conceptual geological and mineralization models and use it to develop priority exploration and drill targets for the 2023 season.”

Nickel North Exploration is a Canada-based exploration company focused on defining a Cu-Ni-Co-PGE mineral resource at its Hawk Ridge Project in Northern Québec.

Nickel North Exploration Corp. (NNX) was trading steadily at C$0.04.
