Patriot One (PAT) will deploy its SmartGateway screening solution at the SAP Center.

The SAP Center is the home of the NHL’s San Jose Sharks and seats nearly 18,000 patrons.

SmartGateway will secure all venue entrances for all non-NHL events, including home games for the Bay Area Panthers of the Indoor Football League.

The solution will also be deployed at entrances to nearby Tech CU Arena, the 4,200-seat home of the American Hockey League’s San Jose Barracuda.

SmartGateway uses AI sensors to unobtrusively detect knives, guns and other prohibited items in high-throughput environments. The solution has been certified to meet the DOJ NIJ standard for large and medium weapons, which complies with the NHL’s requirements for prohibited items.

“Partnering with forward-thinking organizations like Sharks Sports & Entertainment makes complete sense – they require next-gen technology to secure their state-of-the-art facilities, which is exactly what Patriot One can provide, along with customization to fit their unique security standards and requirements,” said Peter Evans, CEO of Patriot One.

Patriot One Technologies makes unobtrusive, AI-driven weapons- and threat-detection systems.

Patriot One (PAT) is up by 13.58 per cent, trading at $0.46 per share as of 10:05 am EST.
