ReCreate, the lifestyle and botanical wellness brand from Charlotte’s Web Holdings, Inc. (TSX:CWEB, OTCQX:CWBHF), has been named the official CBD of the Premier Lacrosse League.

Charlotte’s Web describes itself as a “pioneer in the sports industry, prioritizing the well-being and recovery of professional lacrosse athletes and their fans,” in a news release about expanding the footprint with its hemp-derived CBD products.

The Tuesday announcement follows ReCreate collaborations with Major League Baseball and Angel City Football Club of the National Women’s Soccer League by the brand “focused on the combination of organic broad-spectrum CBD and functional botanicals … blending the forces of nature and science to meet the diverse needs of today’s wellness-focused consumers.”

“As we continue to trailblaze the future of professional sports, staying at the forefront of player well-being and recovery is core to our mission,” Mike Rabil, co-founder and CEO of the Premier Lacrosse League, said in a statement. “Charlotte’s Web and their focus on performance with their ReCreate products make for an ideal, player-forward partnership for our league. We’re thrilled to name ReCreate the official CBD of the PLL.”

Charlotte’s Web signed a historic partnership with Major League Baseball on Oct. 12, making NSF Certified for Sport CBD products available as a natural option to support players’ recovery, rest, brain support, and endurance.
