ValOre Metals Corp. (VO) has discovered high-grade platinum group elements (PGE) in RC drilling at the Pedra Branca Project in northeastern Brazil.

Drill hole RC21SAS03 intersected 32 metres of mineralization grading 1.65 g/t palladium, platinum, and gold. Near-surface PGE mineralization was intersected in all five of the 2021 RC drill holes.

The Santo Amaro South (SAS) target is located in the northern portion of the project, 1.5 kilometres south of the Santo Amaro deposit, which is included in ValOre’s 2019 NI 43-101 inferred resource.

Colin Smith, ValOre’s VP of Exploration, commented on the discovery.

“RC drill hole RC21SAS03 confirms the presence of broad high-grade surface PGE mineralization at Santo Amaro South,” he said, “and further validates ValOre’s sequential exploration methodology, which has been re-initiated to expand upon the discovery hole.”

He added, ““ValOre rapidly advanced the Santo Amaro South target to drill-ready stage by the implementation of systematic 2021 mapping, Trado auger drilling, and trenching.”

The company has conducted detailed field mapping and prospecting in the 2021 season, confirming the presence of surface PGE mineralization.

ValOre Metals is a Canadian company with a portfolio of high‐quality exploration projects. The company acquired the Pedra Branca PGE property in Brazil, adding to its existing projects in Canada.

ValOre Metals Corp. (VO) is up 4.44 per cent, trading at $0.235 per share as of 1:47 pm ET.
