Sirios Resources (TSXV:SOI) reveals visible gold at eight different locations in the first drill hole of its fall 2024 program at the Cheechoo gold project in Quebec.

In a news release, the company stated gold grains were found by company geologists in drill hole CH24-317 to the following depths: 86.6 metres (m) 91.7m; 128m; 167.5m; 178.3m; 189m; 331.3m; and between 356.9m and 358.3m.

Sirios Resources indicated these observations confirm the presence of gold at multiple locations. The drill hole was completed after reaching the company’s planned depth of 399m.

As it currently stands, the company is currently moving forward with the first phase of a diamond drilling program targeting high-grade zones at its Cheechoo gold deposit. Phase one will include roughly 2,000m of drilling, while phase 2 will take place winter 2025.

Sirios is currently carrying out the first phase of a diamond drilling program targeting high-grade zones of the Cheechoo gold deposit. The Phase 1 program will consist of approximately 2,000 meters of drilling. Phase 2 will be of greater scope and will be carried out during the winter of 2025.

The Cheechoo property is located roughly 15 kilometres away from Newmont Corporation’s (TSX:NGT) Eleonore gold mine in the James Bay region of Quebec.

Based out of Quebec, Sirios Resources is a mineral exploration company focused on its 100 per cent Cheechoo gold property located in Eeyou Istchee, James Bay.

Shares of Sirios Gold are up 10 per cent to C$0.055 as of 9:45 a.m. ET.
