Sweet Earth Holdings Corp. (SE) has announced results from its in vitro release testing product research program.

The program, which is being conducted with NAVCO Pharmaceuticals, is intended to maximize the efficacy of the company’s CBD skincare and body products.

Sweet Earth Holdings said the program is also intended to validate the claimed benefits associated with the skincare and body products.

So far, results have shown that CBD permeability of Sweet Earth’s products onsets within 30 minutes and increases to reach the maximum absorption at three hours.

“Understanding absorption rates is very important, especially given that the CBD-product sector is somewhat unregulated, and the company continues to focus on becoming an industry leader,” Sweet Earth said in a press release.

Headquartered out of Vancouver, BC, Sweet Earth Holdings is a vertically integrated farm-to-shelf hep grower. The company has a farm in Oregon that holds a line of hemp and CBD products for both the US and global markets.

Shares of Sweet Earth Holdings remain unchanged at C$0.07 from the previous close.
