C-COM Satellite Systems (CMI) has received a US$2.65 million order for its iNetVu1200 Vehicle Mount antenna systems from one of its resellers.

The first group of these antenna systems has already been delivered, with the balance scheduled to ship in the second and third quarters of C-COM’s 2022 fiscal year.

This significant purchase of the iNetVu 1200 Vehicle Mount marks one of the largest orders the company has received for this specific system.

This fully automatic antenna can be transported on a vehicle or a trailer to any location where no connectivity exists and with a press of a button, the antenna can locate the desired satellite and deliver Broadband Internet connectivity.

“This significant order from a global leader in satellite communications is a testimony to the quality and reliability as well as the world-wide acceptance of the iNetVu series of antennas,” stated Leslie Klein, President and CEO of C-COM.

“The ability for C-COM to rapidly deliver a large number of antennas, despite worldwide supply chain issues, is validated by large orders like these,” he added.

C-COM offers classic and next-generation Driveaway, Flyaway, Fixed Motorized, and Manpack systems for any vertical market where communications are limited or challenging due to disruption or deficiency.

The company’s products are integrated with all major modem manufacturers and approved worldwide by most major satellite operators. The company works closely with more than 600 active resellers/integrators in over 100 countries.

C-COM is also collaborating with a renowned research team at the University of Waterloo on the development of an electronically steerable, Ka-band flat panel antenna system that is based on a patented phased array beamforming technology.

This system has the potential to revolutionize satellite addressable mobility markets (land, air, maritime).

C-COM Satellite Systems Inc. is a leader in the design, development, and manufacture of transportable and mobile satellite-based antenna systems.
