ARHT Media (ART) is working with Carleton University to deploy its HoloPresence technology for remote students’ distance learning in Yukon.

ARHT’s live hologram technology aims to aid remote post-secondary instruction and community engagement, given the difficulty of travelling to and from the region, most involvement has been limited to virtual interaction through video conferencing.

Thanks to ARHT’s latest 4K hologram tech that can display live interactive holograms, students up north will be able to interact with faculty and students in Ottawa.

One of Carleton University’s instructors, Troy Anderson explained that their partner northern communities have identified student engagement as one of the more pressing educational problems they face. School staffing and resources are often stretched, and the team is investigating the value-added of this new technology.

“With ARHT’s live hologram technology, we will assess improvements in engagement and content retention through the use of live holograms. We will also be investigating other promising uses of the technology that might be of benefit to these communities.”

A pioneer in the live hologram industry, ARHT’s HoloPresence technology offers a complete end-to-end solution for the Capture, Transmission and Display of live holograms for in-person, hybrid, and online events.

ARHT Media (ART) is down 2.44 per cent, trading at C$0.20 as of 12:30 pm EST.
