In the Headlines:

The Liberal Party secured 168 seats in Canada’s elections, falling short of the 172-seat majority Prime Minister Mark Carney had aimed for to strengthen his hand in tariff negotiations with Washington.

And Barrick Gold is planning to change its name to Barrick Mining. The Canadian mining giant also plans to change the ticker for its NYSE-listed stock from GOLD to the letter “B.

Currencies Update: (Futures)

The Canadian dollar slightly down by 0.11% to the greenback holding at at $0.7214 U.S.,  gaining traction on the Euro by 0.17% to $0.6351, and Bitcoin falls 0.43% to $131,445.20
