The company described its current exploration focus as confirming and expanding known mineral occurrences and testing prioritized structural trends, particularly where structural features intersect or bend in areas of more complex geology.
Purdex Zone mineral resource estimate
Total Metals pointed to a National Instrument 43-101 (NI 43-101) mineral resource estimate for the Purdex Zone with an effective date of April 14, 2023. The company also referenced a NI 43-101 technical report with an effective date of November 30, 2025 titled “Technical Report and Initial Mineral Resource Estimate of the High Lake – West Hawk Lake Gold Project” by English River Geoscience Ltd., which it said confirms the currency of the mineral resource estimate.
At a 2.6 g/t gold cut-off, the table in the release lists an indicated resource of 152 thousand tonnes grading 9.38 g/t gold for 45.8 thousand ounces, and an inferred resource of 287 thousand tonnes grading 10.43 g/t gold for 96.2 thousand ounces.
The release also summarized selected drill intercepts reported from a 2022–2023 program completed by McFarlane Lake Mining at the Purdex Zone, including 24.96 g/t gold over 14.90 m in hole MLHL-22-06 and 148.37 g/t gold over 1.3 m in hole MLHL-22-17.
Total Metals said its next steps include expediting plans for additional drilling to expand the known zone and test newly identified targets, and preparing drilling to test extensions where the deposit is open along strike and at depth.
