FireFox Gold Corp. (FFOX) has closed the first tranche of a non-brokered private placement for gross proceeds of $452,010.

Under the first tranche, the company issued 3,228,643 units for $0.14 per unit. Each unit consists of one common share and one common share purchase warrant. Each whole warrant is exercisable for one additional common share for a term of two years from the date of issuance.

The shares issued will be subject to a statutory hold period of four months.

FireFox Gold plans to use the proceeds for general corporate purposes, working capital and exploration activities on its gold exploration properties in Finland.

The company plans to complete a second tranche before July 14, 2022.
